Where the idea came from...

In the future, I aspire to be working in the comedy field in some way shape or form. Comedy is something I enjoy watching and I have always wanted to make people laugh...

The idea for a comedy sketch show came about as it fits in perfectly with the other two modules I am studying in my third year of Theatre Arts.

I am studying THE3200 Contemporary Television Drama and THE3300 Comic Performance modules this year and the skills I have adopted link in with the Proposition Module.

Whilst on the THE3200 Contemporary Television Drama module, I learnt how to operate the JVC HM100 camera and the editing software 'Final Cut Pro'. With these skills acquired, filming and editing the sketch show became less of a daunting task.

The THE3300 Comic Performance module consisted of analysing stand-up comedians, commenting on their stage presence, their relationship with the audience, how they escape punishment for explicit material and any techniques they use to achieve moments of comedy. We also get the opportunity to enter the stage ourselves and perform our own material at the end of the module.

THE3560 Proposition Module is simply a combination of the two, being funny... but on camera instead of on stage!
